Two Saints Bar & Kitchen — 500 metres from the Taj Mahal, where India and Italy share the same table under an open Agra sky.
Agra is home to one of humanity's greatest achievements — the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built between 1632 and 1653 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as an eternal testament of love for his queen Mumtaz Mahal, it draws over six million visitors every year from every corner of the globe.
The Taj took more than 20,000 artisans and 22 years to complete. Its pure white marble — quarried from Makrana, Rajasthan — shifts colour through the day: pinkish at dawn, dazzling white at noon, and molten gold under moonlight. No photograph ever quite captures it.
Not a piece of architecture, as other buildings are, but the proud passions of an emperor's love wrought in living stones. — Sir Edwin Arnold
The Taj Mahal's four minarets lean slightly outward — an ingenious design so that if they fall, they fall away from the tomb.
Over 1,000 elephants were used to transport construction materials across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh during its construction.
Two Saints sits just 500 metres from the South Gate — the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and eat well after a morning at the monument.
Two Saints was built on the belief that a great city deserves a great gathering place. On Fatehabad Road, in the heart of Agra's most storied neighbourhood, we carved out a space where the flavours of India and Italy share equal billing — and where every glass is filled with the same care as every plate.
Our rooftop was designed for the kind of evening that doesn't end until you've watched the Agra sky shift from amber to deep indigo. Live DJ from 8:30 PM, drinks that travel the world, and a kitchen that understands both biryani and bruschetta with equal conviction.
An open-air terrace with fairy lights, an evening DJ, and the city of Agra laid out below. The rooftop is Two Saints at its most itself — unhurried, alive, and impossible to leave early.
Indian and Italian — not as a gimmick, but as a genuine philosophy. A slow dum biryani and a wood-fired pizza can both be acts of love. Our kitchen proves it, plate by plate, evening after evening.
Craft cocktails, inspired mocktails, and a drinks list that travels as widely as our guests. The bar is the spine of Two Saints, and it shows in every sip — from the first Tiki Man to the last Coco Bango.
As the sun sets over Agra, our rooftop transforms. The DJ begins at 8:30 PM, the fairy lights come on, and the city slows down. There's nowhere better to end a day that started at the Taj Mahal.
Our kitchen refuses to choose sides. A slow-cooked dum biryani that rivals Hyderabad's best sits beside a wood-fired paneer tikka pizza. Both are made with serious intent. Both will bring you back.
From the tropical Tiki Man to the house-signature Coco Bango mocktail, every glass is a considered decision. The bar is the spine of Two Saints, and the drinks programme shows it in every pour.
A great find in Agra. The food was quite good — we really enjoyed the variety between Indian and Italian dishes. The venue is very versatile: a rooftop with live music and a relaxed lower floor. Rayindra, our waiter, was incredibly attentive. Value for money is very fair.
We had a wonderful family dinner. Lalit, the floor supervisor, took great care of us and suggested dishes that turned out absolutely delicious. Being from Hyderabad with high biryani standards — this one was pleasantly different, flavorful, and memorable.
Need a cold beer and a great pizza after a week in India? This is a perfect stop. Good vibe, nicely maintained. Staff were quick to replace a mocktail that missed the mark — that kind of responsiveness is genuinely rare and deeply appreciated.
